Xbox to Receive Fast-paced Platformer ‘Neon White’
At the Xbox Games Extended Showcase, it was revealed that Game Pass will be receiving additional indie titles, including Neon White, which was among ReturnByte’s top games of 2022. Although it was initially released on PC and Nintendo Switch in June of last year and on PlayStation in December, an Xbox release date has not yet been announced. However, once it becomes available on Microsoft’s consoles, Game Pass subscribers will have the opportunity to try it out without any additional fees.
Neon White is a fast-paced platformer that can help you fulfill any of your speedrunner dreams. You have to clear all the demons in the level before you can reach the exit. You probably want to do it as fast as possible to get the best possible time and beat your friends on the leaderboard. Oh, there are dating sim elements too. It’s a quirky, stylish game, but what else could you really expect from publisher Annapurna Interactive?
In its second presentation of the week, Microsoft revealed that nine more indies are coming to Game Pass each day of release through the ID@Xbox program. Little Kitty Big City, an adorable narrative puzzle game where you help a lost cat find its way home, is coming to Xbox, Switch, and PC early next year (a demo will be available during the Steam Next Fest later this month). Another Crab’s Treasure, the charming Soulslike, will also be coming to these three platforms early next year.
Techtonica is a first-person factory automation game, while The Wandering Village is a city-building sim played on the back of a huge wandering creature. Other Game Pass games include the turn-based RPG Sea of Stars, the social simulation adventure Mineko’s Night Market, the hand-crafted narrative title Harold Halibut, the hospital management game Galacticare, and the narrative adventure The Bookwalker, according to Microsoft.
